This ceremonial lamentation\, expressed through poignant verses and melodies\, resonates with deep reverence across generations. Yusra’s initiation into this art began amidst the majlis gatherings of Mustafabad. \nFrom her earliest memories to the nuances she discovered later\, Yusra’s musical journey was nurtured by her elders. Her father’s unique approach\, linking a salaam to a recognizable raag\, played a pivotal role in her development. With time\, she refined her craft to articulate the nuanced emotions and narratives inherent in Soz Khwani.
