To belong. What does it mean to belong? Association? Identity? A sense of safety and comfort? And then, do we belong to individuals, or communities? Or the streets, and houses of bricks and stones? Maybe, the innate rhythm with which the trees and birds dance at some place, or some time…

Little Stint II will feature works on and/or around the idea of belonging.

Our search for belonging is invariably intertwined with the pursuit of self discovery and self realisation. The term and the idea(s) it encapsulates hold very different meanings for all of us. For some, this may evoke an abundance of joy and warmth, and for some, it may bring immense pain and restlessness. Some have a very secure sense of belonging, and then some seem destined for a lifelong struggle of trying to fit in and feel that they belong.

Regardless, most of us, at some point or the other, have dealt with this idea, and can relate to it. This was among the driving factors whilst deciding the theme/contours for this edition.
